He also enjoys Ritz crackers. We keep a few crackers in a container on the table for him to have when he finishes a meal. When he sees the container he gets so excited. He loves to be able to get the cracker out of the container by himself. We are still working on the phrase "one at a time".
Finding something Lucas will eat for dinner has been more challenging than snacks. I decided to try pancakes. He loves pancakes for dinner. I tear them up in small pieces and dip the edge in some syrup and put the pieces on his tray. He can't get them in his mouth fast enough. Needless to say, we are still working on the phrase "one at a time please".
You can see in some of the pictures above that his sippy cup is on his tray. That does not mean he has started to drink from it. Every meal we put the cup on his tray and every meal he shakes his head no and pushes it on the floor. Last Friday when he spent the day with Gammy, cousin Emmary handed him a sippy cup and he drank out of it just fine. So, I'm thinking I may need to borrow Emmary at meal times just to get him to use the cup.
