This past Saturday we went to Boo at the Zoo! We saw scary costumes, funny costumes, animal costumes and silly costumes. We started here at the castle enterance where we stopped to listen to a few Halloween songs.

Lucas loved the music and just sat and bobbed his head to the beat while watching all the people.

Once inside, we stopped at the first trick-or-treat booth and got animal masks. Lucas got lucky enough to get a monkey!

After a few more candy stops, we entered the "Bat Cave". We got to see many of the nocturnal animals that are usually asleep when we visit.

We did some more walking and stopping to get candy until we made it around to the barn yard. Lucas really likes the barn yard because he can get right up to the fence and see the animals. He really enjoyed the goats this time and clapped for them as they ate dinner.

On our way out of the barn yard, we saw some scary skeletons!

We stopped to get a picture at the big pumpkin but there were too many people to stay for too long.

Next we stopped so Lucas could be baby Dracula!

Of course we had to get a light stick and show it to everyone.

On the way out, we stopped at the castle to get a picture of Lucas and Daddy.

Lucas had such a great time visiting the zoo at night.
On Sunday, Daddy went and picked up some pumpkins. Lucas thought they would make great drums, no decorating needed!

Daddy carved one pumpkin while Mommy took the easy way out with decorations. Lucas didn't really know what to think and was not about to sit next to the pumpkin and have his picture taken. He liked its mouth but his favorite was grabbing the ear off and crawling away with it.

Although Lucas wouldn't sit next to the pumpkin, Tripod was interested in having his picture taken. I think he was disappointed when the pumpkin got moved to the front step.
