Easter Egg Hunt

A few weeks ago, we found Lucas in the living room eating a Ritz Cracker sandwich. I had put some crackers in a bowl for him and he decided that he would just eat them all at once so he didn't have to keep going back to the table. After one bite, it turned out that 7 Ritz Crackers at one time was a few too many and they were dropped on the floor.

Today was Lucas's Easter Egg Hunt at daycare. The teachers hid the eggs and each child was allow to find 5 eggs for their basket. Lucas was just happy to go outside and run. He was very excited when he found his first egg. But he decided carrying it was more fun than putting it in his basket (which Mom had to carry).

After a little persuasion, I finally convinced Lucas to put his eggs in his basket.

However, as you can see, keeping the eggs in the basket didn't last too long. Lucas struggled to carry his 3 eggs around and refused to put them in his (still empty) basket.

Lucas had a great time hunting for eggs. His favorite part was holding one in each hand and "clapping" them together. He didn't even want to put them down for lunch. It was a really good thing they were plastic eggs!
