10 weeks old

Lucas is 10 weeks old today. He loves to sit up and thinks he should be able to do it all by himself. Although his neck is strong enough, his torso is not yet. So, we have started putting him in his Bumbo seat to help him. He loves being able to sit up as you can see below. Last night we were playing and I was kissing him on the cheek and neck. He turned and started trying to kiss me back. He thought it was the funniest thing. Tonight he had some time with Daddy after work. A portion of his ceiling is painted blue and has white clouds. He has recently discovered this portion of the ceiling that is over his changing table. Now when he is being changed he just lays and smiles and talks to the ceiling. Tonight as we were getting ready for bed he had a big smile for the sky and lots to say.
