6 Months Old

Lucas turned 6 months old on 01/02/2009. He is growing so fast, it is just amazing. He weighed in at 18.3 pounds and measured 26 and 1/4 inches long. Although he still does not like the big bathtub, he is really starting to like baths in his little tub when we put it in his room. It has taken him awhile but he is really starting to enjoy the water and playing with his duck.

This week he has started to learn how to stack his plastic rings. He likes to dump them on the floor and put the first ring on then he is done and moves on to something else. Sometimes he comes back to grab a ring to chew on.

Here he is enjoying his new penguin friend who is about as big as he is. When he hits the penguin, it falls over then pops back up. At first he was a bit afraid but now he just thinks it is funny. He will hit it with his hands but prefers to kick it when he is laying on the floor.
