Lucas is learning to play peek-a-boo with everything. At dinner last night, Matt and I were talking and Lucas decided he wasn't getting enough attention. He would put his book on his head, pull it down, and scream. When we turned to find out what he was screaming about, he put the book back on his head. He would look over the book and crack up laughing when Matt and I yelled "Peek-a-boo Lucas!". Dinner time has become quite a challenge since we have to play peek-a-boo between each bite.

Lucas has decided he doesn't like to sleep in his crib. He likes mom and dad's bed better. Therefore, he often sleeps in our bed. His favorite thing to cuddle...mama's arm. I must say it is not easy to sleep when you have a 20 pound baby wrapped around your arm. In our efforts to help him sleep better, Matt and I decided he needed something to cuddle. We grabbed a little stuffed Curious George one night and have been attempting to "replace" my arm with George. Lucas loves George! Before he can go to sleep, he has to hold George in the air and tell him about his day. Then he has to shake him so George's arms wave in the air. Finally, he is able to lie down and close his eyes. He is still in our bed but he is starting to prefer George over my arm.
